Yo Momma is an American reality television game show based upon the culture of insulting another's mother. Creators, executive producers and hosts are Wilmer Valderrama, along with Sam Sarpong (Seasons 1 and 2), Jason Everhart and Destiny Lightsy. The show—which ran from 2006 to 2007, and as the title suggests used "yo momma" jokes, and many episodes featured guest appearances from rappers.
The Yo Momma Online Network
In conjunction with Yo Momma, MTV launched YoMomma.tv, a Web 2.0 community dedicated to increasing viewer engagement with the program, and heavily promoted during Yo Momma episodes. Site users construct a profile and upload their own yo momma jokes (or "disses"), and attempt to boost their rankings on the site by challenging other users to "Battles", exchanges of uploaded disses between two users. Both disses and Battles are voted on by the user community.
A corollary feature is "Let's Bully", which allows users to send insults over e-mail using an avatar of the user's face superimposed over modifiable clip art. The Let's Bully feature was the subject of an article in Adweek Magazine.
Clifford Smith (born March 2, 1971), better known by his stage name Method Man, is an American hip hop recording artist, record producer and actor from Staten Island, New York City, New York. He took his stage name from the 1979 film The Fearless Young Boxer, also known as Method Man. Method Man is perhaps best known as a member of the East Coast hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. He is also one half of the hip hop duo Method Man & Redman. In 1996, he won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group, for "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By", with American R&B singer-songwriter Mary J. Blige.
Method Man has appeared in the motion pictures Belly, How High, Garden State, and has had minor roles in The Wackness and Venom and Red Tails. On television, he and frequent collaborator, fellow East Coast rapper Redman, co-starred on the short-lived Fox sitcom Method & Red. Method Man has also had a recurring role on HBO's Oz, as Tug Daniels, and as Calvin "Cheese" Wagstaff on the HBO drama series The Wire.
In 2007, the writers of About.com placed him on their list of the Top 50 MCs of Our Time (1987–2007). In 2012, The Source placed him on their list of the Top 50 Lyricists of All Time
As Wu-Tang Clan ascended to hip hop stardom, Method Man was always one of the most visible members of the collective. He was one of only two members to get a solo song on the group's debut album Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers and he was the first to release a solo album under the Clan's unusual contract which allowed its members to release albums under any record label (Method chose to sign with rap label Def Jam). Method Man's solo debut, Tical (1994) was critically acclaimed and well received, entering the American charts at #4 and eventually selling in excess of one million copies. That album featured the hit single "All I Need" which was later remixed featuring Mary J. Blige, which won a Grammy (I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need). During this time Method Man also became close friends with fellow New York City-based rapper The Notorious B.I.G., and was the only guest rapper featured on his debut album Ready to Die. He was also featured on Spice 1's album "AmeriKKKa's Nightmare" on the track "Hard 2 Kill". In 1995, he was also featured on "Got the Flava" off Showbiz and A.G.'s album Goodfellas. In 1996, Method Man appeared on Tupac Shakur's album All Eyez on Me, on the song "Got My Mind Made Up" alongside his rhyme partner Redman, The Dogg Pound (Daz and Kurupt) and Inspectah Deck, whose verse did not make the released album version (although his nickname "Rebel INS" can be heard as the song fades). He was also featured on Redman's 1996 Album "Muddy Waters" on the track "Do What Ya feel".
Michael "Mike" Jones (born January 6, 1981) is an American rapper. He initially was affiliated with the record label Swishahouse, then left to found his own label, Ice Age Entertainment. Before he was on Swishahouse he was in a group called Souf Folk, in which he used the alias Sache. He released one album with Souf Folk called Country Thuggin in 2003. He is also known for his catchphrase "MIKE JONES, WHO!, MIKE JONES, WHO..." usually repeated several times and for handing out shirts with his cell phone number printed on the back.
Jones originally wanted to be a NBA (National Basketball Association) player who rapped on the side. He transferred from school to school many times, forcing him to only play in YMCA leagues due to transfer rules after the 9th Grade. Jones dropped out of high school and briefly took jobs at fast food restaurants. He worked at a Compaq plant and sold cell phones from an apartment on Antoine Drive. T. Brown, Jones's partner in several financial ventures, said that he sold some "dime bags" for six months, but the two mainly bought "T-Mobile Sidekicks" and sold them for an inexpensive price.
Jones often visited his grandmother's house in the Studewood area of Houston. He credits her with giving him the ideas to pursue rap, to use his real name, and to write songs for strippers
Howard Bailey, Jr. (born March 9, 1980[1]), better known by his stage name Chingy, is an American rapper and actor.
Chingy grew up in the Walnut Park section of St. Louis and began rapping in earnest in his late teens. He toured as an opening act with Nelly in the summer of 2002 and then became a protégé of Ludacris, who signed him to his newly formed Disturbing tha Peace (DTP) record label. The rapper's 2003 summer debut single, "Right Thurr", put him on the musical map as a good-time rapper who specialized in catchy, club-friendly beats and simplistic lyrics delivered in a sing-song, nursery rhyme style. Chingy's 2003 debut album, Jackpot, sold two million copies, thanks to the boost from "Right Thurr". A second album, Powerballin', was released in 2004 to mixed reviews, and his 2006 release Hoodstar spawned the hit singles "Pullin' Me Back" and "Dem Jeans." He released Hate It or Love It in 2007, under DTP records. The album's lead single is "Fly Like Me", featuring Amerie. A studio album entitled Success & Failure was released in 2010.
As of 2011, Chingy has been working on his new upcoming project No Risk No Reward which will be released under his label Full Dekk Music Group.

ABOUT YO MOMMA: ATLANTA
In this run of "Yo Momma," the trash-talking headed to the Dirty South for a no-holds barred comedy competition that pit the funniest amateur trash-talkers against one another, hosted by Wilmer Valderrama. In each episode of "Yo Momma," Wilmer searched different neighborhoods in Atlanta to find the most original and skilled clowners. After street-corner style comedy rumbled in each 'hood, Wilmer took the local champion to his rival opponent's crib to gather comedy ammunition for the final battle.
Armed with personal information from the home invasion, the two finalists went head-to-head in the final trash-talking battle; each joking for respect, bragging rights, cash money, and an opportunity to move on in the tournament to represent the best trash talker of the week and eventually a chance to perhaps be crowned the "Best of Atlanta" in a special episode that features the only four remaining undefeated jokers in the city.
